Role: Design
Manawara is a Brazilian brand inspired by the landscapes and flavors of the Amazon, created to bring the region’s unique products to consumers in Brazil and around the world.
Among them is uruçu honey, a 100% natural product made by native stingless bees and produced directly in the Amazon. With its distinctive origin, properties, and production process, the product called for packaging that could communicate its uniqueness and stand out on the shelf.
The Challenge
To create a packaging design that translated the product’s natural origins and distinctive character into a bold, contemporary visual identity. The challenge was to highlight the connection between the honey, the uruçu bee, and the Amazon while avoiding conventional representations of the region and creating strong shelf presence.

The Concept
The visual concept draws directly from the world of uruçu honey. The contrast between black and golden yellow creates a bold and distinctive presence, while flowing honey and hand-painted honeycomb patterns bring texture, warmth, and a sense of natural craftsmanship to the packaging.
